Job Summary
We are seeking dependable and safety-conscious individuals to join our team as Traffic Control Flaggers . This role plays a critical part in maintaining safe and efficient traffic flow around construction and utility work zones. Key Responsibilities
Set up and dismantle traffic control zones, including cones, signs, and barriers
Direct traffic using stop/slow paddles, hand signals, and clear communication
Guide motorists safely through construction and work zones
Monitor traffic conditions and adjust control measures to ensure safety and efficiency
Coordinate with fellow flaggers and crew members to maintain smooth operations
Ensure safe distances between workers, equipment, and moving vehicles
Assist with general site setup, maintenance, and cleanup activities
Follow all company and PennDOT safety regulations and procedures
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred, not mandatory)
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
Ability to stand for extended periods
Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused mindset
Willingness to learn traffic control standards and safety protocols
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or traffic flagging (preferred but not required)
Basic knowledge of safety procedures in work zones
Compensation
Competitive starting wage with structured increases:
$17/hour after 3 months
