Responsibilities The Criminal Intelligence Analyst II provides analytic support to criminal investigations, homeland security, and intelligence operations. The analyst coordinates large-scale, multi-jurisdictional research projects and produces written strategic products.Analyze cell phone call detail records, cell site locations, hard drives and digital media for forensic examinations.Develop new investigative and analytical programs designed to aid investigative and intelligence activities.Assess information for information security levels and protect privacy of individuals.Brief agency executives, staff and state leaders on threats and response strategies.Collect and analyze data to develop intelligence on criminal threats and trends; communicate findings through memos, reports, and briefings.Document analytical actions and findings for background investigation related activities.Disseminate intelligence products to law enforcement and private sector communities in accordance with policy and statutes.Interpret investigative information and provide relevant findings to investigators and/or prosecuting authorities.Lead and coordinate multi‑agency information sharing initiatives to address criminal activity.Monitor the threat environment and provide analytic support during crisis situations.Qualifications Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in criminal justice, criminology, intelligence analysis, sociology, or a closely related field; or an equivalent substitution of experience.Two years of professional experience in conducting investigative case support or criminal intelligence analysis for a law enforcement agency.Knowledge of business communication procedures, computer programs, presentation skills, and specific analytical tools.Ability to organize and present findings clearly and concisely in oral and written form.Proficiency in collecting, analyzing data, and recognizing emerging threats.Special Requirements Required to perform job‑related travel; be away from home for extended periods; complete all training and certifications; pass a thorough background investigation; obtain and hold a security clearance.Equal Opportunity Employment The State of Oklahoma is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of genetic information, race, religion, color, sex, age, national origin, or disability.#J-18808-Ljbffr
