Marine Technician
As a Marine Technician at Captain's Choice Marine, you will be integral in maintaining and repairing a variety of marine vehicles. This role is essential to our mission of delivering exceptional service and quality to our customers, ensuring their boating experiences are safe and enjoyable.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on marine engines and boats to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments effectively during repairs.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and provide accurate solutions in a timely manner.
- Assist customers with inquiries regarding boat maintenance and repairs, enhancing their experience.
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical support during the sales process.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance work performed on each vessel.
- Stay updated on the latest marine technology and repair techniques.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably in the marine industry.
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients.
- Ability to weld and work with sheet metal is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and vehicle maintenance practices.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Basic understanding of sales processes related to vehicle maintenance is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
