Job Announcement: Military Operations AnalystClearance: Active TS/SCI requiredLocation: Fort Carson, COStart Date: Contingent upon contract awardContract ContextPersistent turnover among BrigadeS3 Soldiers and mandatory absences for training/certification create gaps that this contract fills with experienced contractor personnel. Military Operations Analysts will perform duties normally handled by brigade‑level officers or senior NCOs, supporting Operations, Training, Standardization, and Evaluations across five mission areas.Core ResponsibilitiesProvide day‑to‑day operational planning, synchronization, and execution support to the BrigadeS3 for USSPACECOM/USSTRATCOM/USNORTHCOM missions.Develop and refine Full‑Spectrum Operations Mission Essential Task Lists (FSOMETL).Track and report unit readiness through DRRS‑S and NetUSR.Integrate space capabilities and Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) assets—and their associated C2 systems—into operational plans.Support standardization and evaluation activities in accordance with SMDC Standards and Evaluation Program guidance.Prepare briefings, decision papers, and after‑action reports for senior leaders.Serve as a subject‑matter expert during training events, mission rehearsals, and contingency operations.Minimum QualificationsGeneral understanding of space support to operations at the brigade level or higher.Thorough knowledge of Army training management processes, FSOMETL development, and SMDC evaluation standards.Demonstrated expertise with DRRS‑S and NetUSR.Familiarity with BMDS architecture; graduation from at least one of the following is highly valued:Sensor Manager Qualification Course (SMQC)Sensor Manager Leader Development Course (SMLDC)Command & Control, Battle Management & Communications Planner's Course (C2BMC‑PC)THAAD Tactician, Technician, or Follow‑On coursesProficiency in Microsoft365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).Completion of Space200 is desired but not mandatory.Summit is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
