Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSecurity Officer - Crisis CenterLocation: Littleton, ColoradoCompany: Iron Peak SecurityPay: $22.00 per hourIron Peak Security is currently seeking two professional Security Officers to join our team at a Crisis Center located in Littleton, Colorado. This is a unique opportunity for security professionals who are committed to maintaining a safe and supportive environment while utilizing strong communication and de-escalation skills.Available ShiftsPosition 1* Tuesday - Saturday* 2:00 PM - 10:00 PMPosition 2* Monday - Thursday* 6:00 AM - 2:00 PMJob Responsibilities* Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, clients, and visitors.* Conduct regular patrols of the property.* Monitor and document activity throughout the shift.* Respond appropriately to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies.* Utilize verbal de-escalation techniques to resolve conflicts whenever possible.* Work closely with facility staff to ensure a secure and professional atmosphere.* Complete detailed incident reports and daily activity reports.Requirements* Minimum of 2 years of security experience .* Strong verbal communication and conflict-resolution skills.* Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.* Comfortable with hands-on interventions when necessary and in accordance with training and company policy.* Must be willing to receive an annual flu vaccination .* Must complete a Tuberculosis (TB) test prior to assignment.* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.* Ability to pass all required background screening requirements.Preferred Qualifications* Military experience.* Law enforcement experience.* Behavioral health or mental health facility experience.* Crisis intervention training or experience.* Experience working with vulnerable populations.Benefits* $22.00 per hour* Paid Sick Time* Paid Vacation Time* Annual Flu Shot provided and covered by Iron Peak Security.* TB Testing provided and covered by Iron Peak Security.* Professional and supportive work environment.* Opportunities for advancement within a growing company.Iron Peak Security is looking for dependable, professional individuals who can balance security enforcement with compassion, communication, and sound judgment.
