A recruiter will be in touch when possible.What will I be doing?Using your expertise in all-source intelligence analysis, you will be providing intelligence analysis support related to the analysis, processing, development, and distribution of strategic and criminal intelligence supporting Federal Protective Services operations. You will be:Preparing all-source intelligence products (e.g., intelligence briefs, written intelligence threat estimates, and intelligence threat bulletins)Establishing and maintaining systematic, cross-referenced criminal intelligence records and filesReceiving and processing incoming reports and messages from security and law enforcement officesDetermining the significance and reliability of incoming informationAssisting in the analysis and evaluation of intelligence holdings to determine changes in capabilities, vulnerabilities, and probable courses of actionAssembling and proofreading intelligence reports and assisting in consolidating them into customer-required formatStoring and retrieve criminal intelligence data using Government-furnished computersPreparing criminal intelligence productsPreparing threat briefs, threat assessments and criminal intelligence analytical supportMaintaining awareness of emerging criminal intelligence and security threatsOther duties as assignedWhat experience, training, and education do I need?You must meet the minimum requirements:Active Top Secret / SCI clearanceBachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an area related to the position and at least 2 years of related experience; or Associate's Degree and 4 years of related experienceExperience in strategic, operational, and tactical analysis, based on raw intelligence collected from a variety of sources, i.e. INTsAbility to apply knowledge of INT-specific analysis techniquesAt least working knowledge of (preferably hands‑on experience with) databases and software programs used in the intelligence environmentPossess excellent oral, writing, and coordination skills to communicate factual information clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, often under pressure and tight deadlines that meets or exceeds established analytical standardsThe following experience is preferred:Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution preferred in International Studies, Intelligence, Homeland Security, Criminal Justice, or other related concentration6 years of experience working with DHS data sourcesExperience performing Open-Source CollectionIntelligence Community (IC) experienceDHS intelligence analysis experienceExperience working researching and providing evaluations for Intelligence Information Reports (IIR)Criminal Intelligence analysis experienceKnowledge of the following:DHS FPS intelligence authorities, DHS component missions, and the role of FPS in supporting the DHS Intelligence EnterpriseOverall FPS intelligence research, analysis, and production processTitle 18 authoritiesMultiple open-source areas including surface, deep, and dark webMultiple collection techniques or approachesDeveloping a collection plan and dissemination practicesExperience working with Microsoft Office suite, common Open-Source tools, and DHS data systemsExperience working researching and providing evaluations for Intelligence Information Reports (IIR)Where is the client site that I would be working for?You will be working in Springfield, Virginia, with potential to work at different locations within the National Capital Region as assigned.
