Security Officer (Full Time)

Description
Responsibilities:
- Assist in transporting money, chips, tokens, and markers.
- Control access to restricted areas.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to customer and team member incidents and accidents.
- Monitor customer and team member passage in and out of casino.
- Check for and reporting safety hazards.
- Ensure the safety and security of all customers and team members.
- Comply with all policies and procedures established by Missouri Gaming Commission, Bally's Kansas City and departmental management.
Competencies:
- Must be able to work any assigned shift, including late nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
- Read, write, and understand simple instructions.
- Communicate appropriately with all casino customers, casino departments, and fellow team members.
- Understand and adhere to all Missouri Gaming Commission regulations and any other applicable federal, state, and/or local regulations.
- Accurately perform all assigned job duties in a high-volume, fast-paced environment under frequent time pressures.
- Use of hand-held two-way radio, flashlight, and telephone.
- Ability to write clear and concise reports using correct grammar and punctuation.
Work Environment:
- Required to stand and walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, and controls, reach with hands and arms, and talk and hear.
- Required to bend or stoop and to lift up to 100 pounds, including lifting overhead. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Exposure to variable temperatures, smoke, steam, and wet areas.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually somewhat loud.
Target Salary Range: $16.00 to $18.63

Qualifications
Education
High School or better.
Experience
