Loss Prevention AssociateDirect Report: Area LP Manager (ALPM), District LP Manager (DLPM)Job RequirementsEducation: High school graduate or equivalent.Experience: 1 year retail loss prevention or law enforcement; state certification where applicable.Physical requirements: Must stand and walk sales floor for 8 hours; lift and carry 25 lbs; available nights, weekends, rotating shifts; follow directions and communicate clearly.Key ResponsibilitiesApprehend shoplifters and recover Company assets per guidelines.Prevent shoplifting incidents and recover assets per prevention guidelines.Audit compliance of external loss prevention standards.Identify external exposures and recommend solutions.Report observed or suspected internal theft exposures.Serve on the Shrinkage Committee and promote shrinkage awareness.Create an environment of ownership among associates.Complete reports and duties in a timely manner.Assist management to maintain operational compliance.Ensure a safe working and shopping environment.Report violations of operational standards to store management and supervisor.Perform any additional tasks assigned by management to support business needs.#J-18808-Ljbffr
