Network Support Administrator - Active Secret Clearance

NTT DATA is seeking a Network Support Administrator – Active Secret Clearance to join our team in Newport News, Virginia (US-VA), United States. This position requires maintaining and troubleshooting the enterprise network for the CVN IT.Job DutiesImplement and maintain the enterprise network for the CVN ITMonitor the network dailyMonitor the network proxy for policy violationsMaintain Systems Configuration ControlMaintain Hardware/Software Lifecycle ManagementInstall and configure shipboard & local/metropolitan area network (LAN/MAN) solutionManage, monitor, and troubleshoot all network-related issues and outagesGenerate and provide customer usage/bandwidth utilization reports and perform network health checksPerform URL filtering/monitoring activities to restrict access to malicious websitesRespond to outages within the enterprise both shipboard spaces and within the LAN/MANPropose technical and business solutions/upgrades to address new/future requirementsTroubleshoot circuit/internet access issues with commercial ISPManage, monitor, and troubleshoot switches, routers, and security device connectivityTroubleshoot copper and fiber optic network cablingPerform routine vulnerability patching, vendor updates, and firmware updatesCreate training documentation for new users and conduct periodic training if necessaryCreate and maintain network diagram drawings and configuration management documentsBasic QualificationsMinimum 3 years of experience monitoring the network daily, monitoring the network for policy violations, and maintaining Systems Configuration ControlNetwork+ or higher level baseline certification within 90 days of startMust possess an active DoD 8570/8140 compliant IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+, CySA+, CCNA Security, or equivalent)Active Secret ClearancePreferred QualificationsUndergraduate/bachelor's degreeCompensation and BenefitsNTT DATA provides a compensation range of $68,520 - $110,000, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on performance.
