These tasks include but are not limited to the following:Functional DescriptionIndependently conducting administrative and record-keeping aspects of the operation/program, including calendar support, meeting minutes, and schedulingApplying knowledge of office management, methods, and procedures in producing and maintaining documentation, correspondence, records, or directivesPreparing materials for meetings, etc.; reads regulations and directives and assists in preparing necessary briefing material related to such regulations and directives; prepares reports and summaries; or assists with replies to inquiries; selecting relevant information from a variety of sources such as reports, documents, correspondence, and other officesRequesting information from other offices for periodic or special conferences, reports, inquiries, etc. Interprets and adapts guidelines, including unwritten policies, precedents, and practicesReceive, open as necessary, and review incoming mail, determine proper routing, reroute as needed, sort into action or non-action categories, and file as necessary.Route telephone calls and mail by specific name request or by specific functional area.Replies to inquiries, selecting relevant information from various sources such as reports, documents, correspondence, and other officesMaintain, transfer, retire, or purge file systems as requiredPrepare and submit travel request documents in accordance with local, joint, and federal travel regulationsReview travel claims for regulatory compliance and prepare and submit claims for government official approvalUpdate and maintain various tasker and tracking databasesUpdate and maintain calendars and schedulesRequired ExperienceMinimum Four (4) years of experience performing duties described in the functional description.Required EducationBachelor's DegreeAllowable substitutions: Associate's Degree and Four (4) years of additional experience or Six (6) years of experience with no degree.Desired ExperienceProficient with Defense Travel System (DTS) to include foreign travelAdditional RequirementsThis role requires in-person support.Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance preferred or ability to obtain.
