Position DescriptionThis position is a full time Exempt (salary) position, supporting the MTC JBLM Leadership Training and Development Team (LT&D). The Senior Military Analyst provides instruction on Army Leadership doctrine and best practices from real world experience and study of current leadership theory and application.Responsibilities and DutiesProvide United States Army Mission Command and Leadership instruction, typically small group format to Soldiers, Leaders, and Department of the Army Civilians.Create Leadership Training and Development classes and Programs of Instruction.Create Army Mission Command classes and Programs of Instruction.Conduct Video Interviews with Army Leaders to discuss a range of Leadership and Mission Command topics.Serve as project lead to design, develop, and produce multimedia products documenting Leadership and Mission Command Lessons Learned as units prepare for operational deployments or major events, deploy and execute their assigned missions, and subsequently redeploy to home station.Coordinate directly with units residing at JBLM to analyze Leadership training requirements and develop a broad range of training solutions that best support Commander's Leader Development Programs.Research all aspects of Army and civilian community Leadership and Mission Command best practices and techniques.Assist in maintaining relevancy and currency of the Leadership Training and Development Team products, services, webpages, and reference library.Working ConditionsPosition: Office environment, occasionally outdoors.
