Role OverviewUNPAID internship through the Hire Vets Now (HVN) SkillBridge Program for transitioning active‑duty U.S. military personnel. The internship is available to those in the final 180 days of active duty and provides real‑world experience during that period.Intern responsibilities include:Develop, administer, and maintain security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment.Study and implement federal security regulations that apply to the company's operations.Obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance from government agencies.Prepare manuals outlining regulations and establish procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials.Conduct security education classes and security audits.Investigate security violations and prepare reports with recommended preventive action.QualificationsActive‑Duty U.S. military personnel within the final 180 days of service (or within the final 12 months for transitioning military candidates).Education and experience requirements are dependent on the specific Program of Instruction.U.S. citizenship required for this position.Job DetailsFull‑time, 1st shift.
