Our reputation is built on reliability, professionalism, and attention to detail.POSITION SUMMARYThe Charter Bus Dispatcher plays a critical role in our daily operations. You will be responsible for coordinating driver schedules, monitoring active trips, and serving as the main point of contact between drivers, clients, and management. This is a fast-paced role that requires strong communication, quick decision-making, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAssign and schedule drivers to charter runs based on availability, licensing, and vehicle typeMonitor all active trips in real time and communicate with drivers on the roadConfirm client pickup times, drop-off locations, and special instructions before each runManage last-minute changes including driver call-outs, delays, and route adjustmentsMaintain accurate trip logs, driver manifests, and daily run sheetsCoordinate with the maintenance team on vehicle readiness and availabilityEnsure all trips meet compliance requirements including proper documentation for special access locationsRespond to on-road issues and emergencies quickly and professionallySupport management with scheduling reports and fleet coordination as neededQUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma or equivalent required12 years of experience in dispatching, transportation, or logistics preferredStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to multitask and prioritize in a high-volume environmentComfortable with GPS tracking systems and dispatch softwareKnowledge of DOT Hours of Service regulations a plusBilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
