The Loss Prevention Associate is responsible for protecting the assets of the distribution center by preventing theft, ensuring safety compliance, and supporting investigations. This role plays a critical part in maintaining a secure and safe working environment for all employeesand visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor surveillance systems and conduct regular patrols of the facility.
Investigate incidents of theft, fraud, or policy violations.
Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Assist in the development and implementation of loss prevention strategies.
Respond to emergencies, including medical, fire, or security-related incidents.
Prepare detailed reports on incidents and investigations.
Collaborate with law enforcement and internal teams as needed.
Support safety initiatives and training programs.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred.
1+ year of experience in loss prevention, security, or a related field.
Familiarity with CCTV systems and access control technologies.
Strong observational and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Flexibility to work various locations, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols.
Experience in a distribution or warehouse setting.
Bilingual skills are a plus.
Pay Details: $19.69 to $21.69 per hour
