Customer Service Representative

The Customer Service Representative will interact with the company's customers by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints. The position takes ownership of customer issues and provides complete end-to-end issue resolution by utilizing the resources available.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Must be able to answer 50 to 150 calls per shift.
- Must be able to take calls involving fire alarms, police, fire, and EMS.
- Fields customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the representative's knowledge, forwards to the assigned specialist or other appropriate staff.
- Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve the callers' problems and issues.
- Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
- Must be available for three twelve-hour shifts 7am to 7pm.
- No rotating shifts.
- Call Center experience is a plus.
Education/Qualification:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Customer service experience required.
- Excellent communication skills including active listening.
- Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.
- Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
- Must have a minimum of six months experience in a customer service industry.
- Must have a clean background.
Other Duties:
- Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Pay:
- Pay is $20 per hour.
