AIR POLLUTION CONTROL HEARING BOARD VOLUNTARY MEMBERRECRUITMENTThe Clark County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) is seeking to fill four positionson the Air Pollution Control (APC) Hearing Board. Members are being sought for thefollowing three-year terms beginning on October 20, 2026: a licensed attorney admittedto practice law in Nevada and three lay members. The APC Hearing Board is a sevenmember board appointed by the BCC that is responsible for hearing enforcement andpermit appeals, assessing civil penalties, and other Department of Environment andSustainability, Division of Air Quality (DAQ) matters that come before the board forresolution. Applicants must be a resident of Nevada and shall not be an employee of theState of Nevada or any other political subdivision of the state. These are voluntaryappointments with no compensation. The APC Hearing Board generally meets four to sixtimes per year.Applications must be submitted online at the Countys Boards & Commissions website In order to receiveconsideration, all applications must be received by 5:00 p.m., on July 7, 2026. Allsubmitted applications become public record and available for public review. Recommendations for selection will be presented to the BCC at a future meeting.Dated: June 7, 2026
