Security-Safety Officer I, Full Time, Night Shift
Enforcement of criminal laws of the state of South Carolina. Including protecting Self Regional Healthcare property, personnel, patients and visitors. Actively observing for fire and safety hazards. Promoting optimal public relations with patients and visitors. Conduct and document all incidents and unusual occurrences. Coordinates with law enforcement agencies doing business at SRH.
Must be 21 years of age, able to pass ALL SLED requirements and all Self Regional Healthcare requirements. Evidence of high school diploma or GED. Two years experience in security or related field; healthcare environment preferred. Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills. Maintains a current unrestricted SC driver's license. Meets criteria established by SRH fleet insurance carrier to be a qualified vehicle operator. Skilled in computer use. Two years experience in fire arms and able to pass annual firearm range qualification.
