U.S. Navy Sonar Technician 2

Ghostrock, a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking an U.S. Navy Sonar Technician 2 to provide technical support and engineering services to the Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center to join our team in Norfolk, VA. Position Responsibilities:

  • The Electronics Technician will provide technical assessment/inspection support, engineering and technical services, and program/logistics support for AN/SQQ-89 and associated equipment/subsystems both ship/land based site installations, also provide technical assessment/inspection support, engineering technical services, and program/logistics support for AN/SQQ-89 and associated equipment/subsystems both ship and land based site installations.

Position Requirements:

  • US Citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an Active Secret Clearance; Candidates currently possessing an Active Secret Clearance (or higher) are preferred.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Five (5) years hands-on troubleshooting, evaluating, repair and general experience with the AN/SQQ89 Sonar System and associated equipment.

Position is located in Norfolk, VA. The hourly wage for this position is $36.00 based on experience.
