Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior technicians with the testing, inspection, and basic maintenance of fire suppression systems.

  • Perform inspections of fire suppression systems, fire extinguishers, emergency lights, and first aid.

  • Use hand tools and testing equipment under supervision.

  • Help perform basic functional testing and visual inspections of suppression systems.

  • Assist with documenting inspection results, deficiencies, and job site conditions.

  • Follow all company safety procedures, customer site requirements, and applicable codes and standards.

  • Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in clean and proper working condition.

  • Communicate professionally with customers, team members, and supervisors.

  • Travel to job sites as required.

  • Other duties as assigned by management.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • No minimum experience necessary.

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

  • Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn fire suppression systems.

  • Ability to follow instructions and work under direct supervision.

  • Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.

  • Ability to work effectively in team environments.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.


Other Duties:

  • Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.

  • Studying for the NFPA Certified Fire Protection Specialist Exam

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Physical Requirements & Work Environment.

  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in various environments.

  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds.

  • Work performed in commercial, industrial, and construction environments.

  • Exposure to varying conditions including heights, confined spaces, and active job sites.

  • Use of hand tools and testing equipment under supervision.

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
