In this position you will be preforming Fire System work in several areas of the construction industry. You will be estimating and doing site visits as well as some marketing and sales tasks.#shambaugh #LI-TS#LI-OnsiteEssential Duties & Responsibilities Establish contact with prospects and qualify potential buyers of Fire Protection contracts by scheduling sales calls, following up on leads and utilizing outlined marketing strategies.Determine customer needs and develop a sales strategy to gain customer understanding of company offerings.Close sufficient sales to exceed sales plan objectives.Familiar with reading blueprints, understanding current NFPA 13, 14, and 20 standards and local codes.Develop a positive ongoing relationship with existing and new customers, general contractors and end users.Estimate small projects including fixed price service as required in addition to large projects ranging from $100k-$1MM+.Ability to build new business associations / relationships and grow the Fire Protection BusinessOther Duties AssignedQualifications Minimum 10 years of experience in a Fire Protection industryFire protection sales estimation preferredPrevious design and/or Project Management experience taking projects from cradle to grave.Experience performing tasks such as layout, takeoff, and hydraulic calculations to put contract proposals together for customers.Experience with various design software/tools such as AutoCad, Revit, Revu, and Navisworks.Previous Contract Sales experience with ground up warehouse, retrofit warehouse, and cold storage warehouses would be a plusUnderstanding of underground design and install procedures for bidding purposes would be a plus.Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeedProven ability to work effectively with minimal supervision, able to multi-task and organize workExceptional presentation, verbal and written communication skillsRegular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as requiredEqual Opportunity Employer Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled#J-18808-Ljbffr
