The Security Officer I is responsible for the safety and security of all patients, employees, contractors, trainees, vendors, and visitors, utilizing Institute facilities. The incumbent will complete regular security rounds, check for and verify proper identification, sign-in/out individuals, provide escort services, control building ingress and egress, write reports, ensure adherence and compliance of Institute policies, and promptly respond to disturbances while on duty.
*The targeted staring salary/hourly rate for an entry-level candidate for this position is $17/h increasing to $19/hour after one year.
EDUCATION:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
EXPERIENCE:
One (1) year of previous security work experience preferred
