This full-time position offers a flexible schedule with no call requirements, starting as soon as credentialing is complete. Responsibilities: Deliver safe and effective anesthesia care for a diverse patient population undergoing a wide range of surgical procedures. Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments, develop anesthesia plans, and administer anesthetics as needed. Monitor patients' vital signs and physiological functions throughout surgery, ensuring their safety and well-being. Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care. Manage post-operative pain management and recovery. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records within the EPIC electronic medical record system. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in anesthesia practices and participate in ongoing professional development activities. Qualifications: Active and unrestricted Michigan (MI) license or eligibility for licensure through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) is required. Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) is mandatory. Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is preferred. Minimum of two years of experience in a clinical anesthesia setting is preferred. Strong clinical judgment, decision-making skills, and a comprehensive knowledge base in anesthesia. Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, families, and healthcare teams in a high-pressure environment.
