    TEKsystems is seeking a mid-level Deployed Support Specialist to support enterprise network operations in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment. This role focuses on the design, integration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise network infrastructures. The engineer will apply administrator- and design-level knowledge of networking architecture, routing and switching, security controls, and configuration management while adhering to detailed installation and change management procedures. Success in this role requires the ability to work onsite with a collaborative team and respond effectively to dynamic operational demands. The selected candidate will work as part of a network engineering team responsible for current and future network architectures. Responsibilities include defining configuration baselines and versioning, conducting studies for system upgrades and infrastructure changes, supporting daily network operations, and participating in integration, installation, testing, and evaluation activities. The role also involves performing detailed maintenance and troubleshooting of network outages using protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP; installing and supporting Cisco routers and switches; coordinating network upgrades with build and installation plans; performing daily system health and status monitoring; and supporting network design reviews with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity requirements and security controls. Qualified candidates must have at least four years of IT experience, including a minimum of two years in network administration. Experience troubleshooting enterprise network outages, installing network gear, and supporting Cisco-based environments is required. An active Secret clearance is mandatory, along with Security+ certification and a CCST or CCNA (or the ability to obtain CCNA within six months of hire). Candidates may qualify with four years of experience and a bachelor's degree in IT; double waivers are not permitted for both certification and experience. Nice-to-have skills include additional enterprise networking and operational support experience.
