    Job Summary

    Provides obstetrical patient care under the direction of a physician, certified nurse, midwife, and, or registered nurse.

    Responsibilities

    Assists with keeping operating rooms and the triage clean, stocked, and orderly.Assists physicians and nurses with performing medical procedures, obstetrical surgical procedures and resuscitation. Performs technical procedures as delegated, including establishing IV access, performing ECGs and vital signs/telemetry monitoring, collecting specimens, providing wound care, and transporting patients. Reports abnormal assessment findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to medical and nursing staff.
