Program: Global Command and Control System – Joint (GCCS-J) Position Summary
The Mid-Level Test Engineer supports the development and modernization of GCCS J by executing test plans, developing automated tests, validating system functionality, and ensuring quality across multiple product areas. Key Responsibilities
Area Responsibilities
Test Planning • Contribute to test plans and procedures. • Identify test cases for new features.
Test Execution • Execute manual and automated tests. • Validate APIs, microservices, and UI components.
Automation • Develop automated test scripts. • Maintain regression test suites.
Agile Support • Participate in Sprint ceremonies. • Validate acceptance criteria.
Documentation • Log defects and track resolutions. • Maintain test artifacts.
Collaboration • Work with developers and product owners. • Support integration testing. Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in STEM.
• 3–6 years of software/system testing experience.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum.
• Familiarity with automation tools and scripting.
• Experience testing distributed systems and APIs.
• Active Secret clearance. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with GCCS J or DoD systems.
• Knowledge of geospatial or intelligence data.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with DISA processes. Desired Competencies
• Strong analytical skills.
• Effective communication.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams.
