Cadets will perform paraprofessional work as a uniformed, non-sworn Fire Department employee, assist the Fire Department staff in several functions such as fire prevention, public fire/EMS education, data mining, and administrative support. This position will receive hands-on and observational, professional experience in the field of fire suppression, Emergency Medical Services, community risk reduction, emergency management while developing valuable customer service and professional skills. This is a casual part-time position (non-benefit earning) generally working 14 hours or less per week.
