STARTING HOURLY: $22.68 - $26.71Application Deadline: Sunday, June 7, 2026.Duties and ResponsibilitiesIn this position, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the security and integrity of our criminal justice information systems.
Your responsibilities will include:- Helping to ensure compliance with all SLED/CJICS/NCIC policies related to the Criminal Justice Information and Communication System.
- Auditing and validating data entered into the NCIC system.
- Contributing to the training and development of personnel accessing NCIC resources.
- Assisting with the maintenance of equipment and software used to access the FBI/NCIC network.
- Supporting the flow of vital information within the law enforcement network.
- Performing administrative tasks to keep our operations running smoothly.

- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communication, and training skills to effectively interact with employees.

Minimum Qualifications- U.S. Citizen
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid South Carolina Driver's License (or ability to obtain one)
- Commitment to obtaining NCIC 40-hour certification within 6 months
- Willingness to pursue SLED NCIC Instructor certification within 1 year
- Honorably discharged from the military (if applicable).
- Have no pending cases or criminal felony convictions (misdemeanors may require expungement).
- No THC or Marijuana use within 365 days; some drugs are automatic disqualifiers.
- No student loans in default status.
