Job/Department Summary:

Under direct supervision of the Director of Benefits, Leaves & Workers’ Compensation, the incumbent provides administrative and program coordination support for Leave of Absence programs, supports logistical aspects of the interactive process for disability-related accommodations, and supports Workers’ Compensation activities. The incumbent also provides coordination and support for employee-facing benefits processes, including assistance with onboarding and offboarding activities, COBRA notifications, dependent eligibility verification, and general benefits inquiries, ensuring alignment with campus practices and Shared Services processes.

Required Education and Experience:

Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in a related field. Relevant education and/or experience which demonstrates acquired and successfully applied knowledge and abilities shown above may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

Preference may be given to applicants with the following as they may be considered specialized skills:

• Experience supporting employee benefits, leaves of absence, workplace accommodations, and workers compensation
• Experience working with diverse employee populations or in complex organizational settings
• Experience supporting employees in sensitive situations; demonstrating discretion, professionalism, and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately

Pay Plan: 12/12

Work Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm, Summer: Mon-Thurs 7:00am-5:30pm

CSU Classification Salary Range: $57,588 (Step 1) - $83,904 (Step 20) per year.
