Locums About the Facility

This federally qualified health center provides outpatient primary care services to the community in New York. The facility is staffed by medical assistants, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and a site supporter to maintain clinical operations. As an FQHC, the clinic is committed to delivering accessible healthcare services within a professional medical environment. About the Facility Location

New York offers a wide range of regional attractions and year-round activities to suit varied interests. Outdoor recreation, cultural events, sporting events, spa experiences, fine dining, and family outings are available throughout the state. Weekend getaways and road trips provide additional options for those exploring the region. About the Clinician‘s Workday

The clinician will provide comprehensive family medicine services Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a one-hour lunch break, totaling 35 hours per week, managing an average of 20-25 patients per day in an outpatient primary care setting. Clinical responsibilities include delivering primary care services to patients of all ages, with a preference for clinicians who can serve newborns through geriatrics, though clinicians who see adults only will also be considered. No call coverage is required for this position. Required credentials include board certification, an active New York license, DEA registration, BLS certification, and Medicaid enrollment; Spanish bilingual proficiency is preferred but not required.
