The Job FULL-TIME AND PART-TIME POSITIONS AVAILABLE Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is recruiting for Cytotechnologists who under general supervision, performs procedures related to the preliminary evaluation of exfoliative and fine needle aspiration (FNA), cellular material to detect the presence or absence of cancer cells, infections, and other morphologic cell changes. Duties include writing microscopic descriptions of findings and providing a cytologic assessment using standard terminology; processing specimens from all body sites and preparing slides; instructing assistants in the processing of cytology specimens; identifying and resolving cytology processing/staining problems and maintaining quality assurance, quality control, and statistical records for the department. The Job FULL-TIME AND PART-TIME POSITIONS AVAILABLE Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is recruiting for Cytotechnologists who under general supervision, performs procedures related to the preliminary evaluation of exfoliative and fine needle aspiration (FNA), cellular material to detect the presence or absence of cancer cells, infections, and other morphologic cell changes. Duties include writing microscopic descriptions of findings and providing a cytologic assessment using standard terminology; processing specimens from all body sites and preparing slides; instructing assistants in the processing of cytology specimens; identifying and resolving cytology processing/staining problems and maintaining quality assurance, quality control, and statistical records for the department.
