THE POSITION IDEAL CANDIDATE STATEMENT The ideal candidate will have prior experience fabricating and installing wooden structures. They will be proficient in reading blueprints and using various types of tools and equipment related to carpentry. DENTAL INSURANCE: The County provides a comprehensive dental benefit program for regular full-time and part-time employees and their eligible dependents. This plan pays on a set fee schedule that varies by procedure. Any amount over the fee schedule is the employee's responsibility. The yearly maximum is $2,000 per person, not including orthodontia. DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS The Building Inspector class levels are distinguished by the number of inspection disciplines an inspector is recognized to be qualified in based on certification and demonstrable abilities. Positions in this class are flexibly staffed and are automatically flexed to the higher level upon completion of required experience and certification as established per the discipline being flexed to. Appointment to the higher class requires that the employee be performing the full range of duties for the class and meet the qualification standards for the class.
