    Performs various clerical level duties (including typing, filing, and computer input) within the Human Resources Department. Excellent communication skills are essential.

    Working hours: Monday through Thursday; flexible daytime hours, up to 25 hours per week.

    Minimum Requirements (Must meet by the closing date of the posting unless otherwise stated)

    • Must be currently enrolled in a college or university with a major in Human Resources, Communications, or other closely related field. Transcripts should be submitted with the completed online application. as proof of enrollment.
    • Must be able to work in the office Monday through Thursday, flexible daytime hours available.
    • Must have experience in all Microsoft products i.e., Word, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe.
    • Must submit Official transcripts prior to closing date of posting.
    • Must be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.


    Essential Functions

    • Supports HR administration functions, including special projects as assigned to increase efficiency andeffectiveness of the agency
    • Collaborates cross-functionally with the HR team to understand and identify areas of process improvement(i.e., onboarding, streamlining processes, etc.).
    • Conducts research to include compiling and analyzing HR-related queries and data.
    • Assists with the maintenance of personnel files ensuring compliance with record retention requirements.
    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
    • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
    • General knowledge of various employment laws and practice.
    • Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of HR work
    • Ability to work independently as well as with others.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage time effectively
    • Performs related work as required.
