    Job Announcement

    The City of Chandler Information Technology Department is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as an IT Programmer Principal Analyst. The position is onsite and scheduled to work 5 days, 8 hours.

    Current City of Chandler employees may only hold one position and are not eligible for additional part-time or secondary positions within the City of Chandler.

Our responsibilities also include providing technology services and support, consulting, business process analysis, and project management.

We are looking for someone who utilizes systems architectural and design principles to plan, modify and implement application solutions while utilizing a variety of modern web and desktop development technologies.

    Minimum qualifications
    • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field; and
    • 5 years of recent experience with systems application analysis, highly complex technical documentation programming, including acting as a lead system implementer on a project team delivering an enterprise solution and
    • experience in web development (C#, ASP.Net, Angular, NodeJs preferred), BASH/Linux, XML, JSON, Database development; or
    • any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.

    Desired qualifications
    • Proven experience as a Workday Integration Developer or similar technical role.
    • Hands-on expertise with: Workday Studio, EIB/DTS, Cloud Connect, Orchestrate.
    • Strong knowledge of Workday Reporting and Prism Analytics.
    • Experience building Workday Extend applications.
    • Familiarity with APIs and integration protocols (REST/SOAP).


    This is a regular full-time position, subject to a 6-month probationary period. A register of qualified candidates will be active for 4 months should another position become available.
