    Benefit Program Associate

    UI Benefit-Special Programs

    Annual Salary Range: $34,711 - $35,971

    What you will do:

    • Open/sort correspondence to prepare for scanning.
    • Scanning of documents into KOFAX.
    • Work/split and assign fax batches on the KOFAX system.
    • Input and retrieve unemployment insurance claims information.
    • Work independently within the scope of assigned duties.
    • Perform other related work as assigned.
    • Seek to assist team members and accept additional assignments willingly.


    Qualifications

    • High School degree (or equivalent) and 1 year of relevant experience (substitutions allowed)


    Desired Attributes

    • Introductory knowledge of, and the ability to apply, interviewing techniques in practical work situations.
    • Ability to make accurate arithmetical computations.
    • Ability to work rapidly and accurately in examining and processing a variety of documents.
    • Ability to consistently display strong customer service skills.
    • Ability to work efficiently, effectively, and accurately.
    • Introductory knowledge of the principles, objectives, and regulations underlying the unemployment insurance program and of the applicable state and federal laws.
    • Introductory knowledge of computer and related equipment for data input, retrieval, and word processing.
