Docket Clerk Division of Workers’ Compensation - Springfield Hourly Wage: $18.69* *This is a part-time, temporary, and hourly position. It is a non-benefit-eligible position and is effective from January 2026 through approximately September 2026, or until funding has been exhausted. This position is not eligible for remote work; it requires in-office attendance.

- What you will do:
• Accountable for preparing and scheduling telephone conferences, cases, dockets, and/or administrative hearings.
• Responsible for reviewing and distributing court documents to attorneys and parties, contacting attorneys and parties, and preparing court documents.
• Receives and distributes incoming and outgoing mail, answers emails, scans, and indexes court documents for electronic storage.
• Retrieves and enters confidential information in the Division’s database, including entries, withdrawals, and dispositions.
• Drafts, proofs, and edits correspondence as requested by administrative law judges.
• Prepares docket materials for the administrative law judges.
• Staffs the front desk, answers telephone calls, and greets customers.
• Orders supplies, maintains the postage meter, and performs other duties as assigned.
All you need for success: Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent and 1 year of related experience
Desired Attributes • Basic knowledge of legal terminology and the legal process.
• 2 years of experience working in a law office, governmental agency, court of adjudication office or workers’ compensation knowledge.
• Ability to manage and organize multiple calendars and schedules.
• Experience using Microsoft 365, Adobe Pro DC, Webex or similar software/platforms.
Lack of post-secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.This position is part-time and temporary, with a work schedule of approximately two days per week. Effective from January 2026 through approximately September 2026, or until the funding has been exhausted.
