    Starting Salary: $56,760.24

    The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the candidate selected is eligible for a years-of-service pay differential, it will be added to the total compensation. A pay differential does not raise the base pay.

    Job Location: This position is located at the Harry S Truman State Office Building, 301 W High Street, Jefferson City, Missouri.

    Why is the work you do in this position important to Missouri?

    This position supports the agency’s goal to facilitate the flow of insurance market information for consumers, insurance companies, departmental staff, and policymakers in monitoring the health of the insurance markets in Missouri.

    • Produce reports on the insurance markets in Missouri
    • Develop and maintain internal and external dashboards
    • Assist in the development and maintenance of analytical models
    • Collect and validate data from insurance industry participants
    • Correspond with insurance companies regarding data submissions and filing requirements
    • Maintain a standardized data analysis process


    • Knowledge through a bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience and/or appropriate certification.
    • Tableau or other data visualization experience
    • Analytical and critical thinking skills


    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with SAS, R, or Python statistical programming
    • 2+ years of experience with Tableau or other data visualization software
