The DHSS/Health Fiscal Services (HFS), seeks a qualified professional for the Purchasing Unit. As a team member of HFS, you will be at the center of all purchasing and payment preparation for the department. Senior Accounts Assistants in this position work with multiple divisions and programs within DHSS, developing skills and knowledge of governmental accounting in a fun, fast paced, team orientated environment.
The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the individual selected or the position is eligible for a pay differential (e.g., shift, security, or years of service), it will be added to the total compensation in your paycheck. A pay differential does not raise your base pay.
- Review requests for purchases.
- Prepare purchase orders using MissouriBuys and SAMII accounting systems.
- Process invoices for payment using MissouriBuys and SAMII accounting systems.
- Review documents for accuracy such as P-Card statements, purchase requests, vendor invoices.
Minimum Qualifications: - 3-5 years of relevant experience (Substitutions may be allowed).
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
