Children’s Division is looking for candidates to fill the position of Administrative Support Assistant. The candidate selected will provide support to local office staff as well as upper management along with the potential of supervising other clerical staff.

• Typing and utilizing word processing software, editing, and transcribing documents.
• Maintain, with relative independence, clerical processes and office activities as assigned and make decision in accordance with agency policies, rules, and/or practices.
• Scheduling and tracking recruitment activities.
• Maintenance of fiscal records and providing support in completion of fiscally required payments and tracking including and not limited to: travel, educational programs, budgetary purchases, and recruitment activities as directed by supervisor.
• Enter, update, and/or retrieve in automated systems; develop spreadsheets and databases; utilize various software packages in the performance of duties.
• Assisting with administrative hiring activities and onboarding activities.
• Other office support duties as assigned
• Ability to travel is required.
One or more years of experience in office support work; and possession of a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency.
(Earned credit hours from an accredited college or university may substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required experience at a rate of 30 earned credit hours for one year.)
Preferred Qualifications - Ability to type quickly and accurately
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
- Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
