This position is with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, Division of Environmental Quality, Air Pollution Control Program and will be located at
1659 East Elm St., Jefferson City, Missouri.
- Ensure staff complete permit application reviews in a timely accurate manner.
- Serve as the technical permitting expert and assist Assistant/Associate Engineers in application reviews and in supporting other Air Program sections, Department programs, state agencies, consultants, companies, etc.
- Participate in meeting with companies, consultants, public, etc.
- Assist in drafting permit policy and guidance by maintaining a thorough, current knowledge and understanding of federal/state regulations, policy, and guidance.
- Registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of Missouri

Equivalent to those typically gained by: - Bachelor of Science in Engineering
- Six or more years of engineering experience
- Training, certification, and/or education in continuous process improvement programs such as Lean Six Sigma as well as completion of Missouri Way, Leadership Academy, and similar programs is preferred.
