Looking to fill 7 (seven) positions for all 3 shifts with varying sequential days off per position. Below are the times and days off of the available positions.
Team 1: 6:30am-3:00pm Team 2: 2:30pm-11:00pm Team 3: 10:45pm-6:45am Thursday and Friday
Monday and Tuesday
Saturday and Sunday
Saturday and Sunday
Wednesday and Thursday
Monday and Tuesday
Job Duties: This is semi-skilled direct care work implementing behavioral interventions for persons with developmental disabilities.
- Implementing the individual support plan and behavioral support techniques developed by the behavior resource team for consumers potentially requiring more restrictive environments due to their behaviors and/or medical needs.
- Responding to crisis situations and implement interventions established until behavior is safe.
- Comprehensive knowledge of standard behavior modification techniques, including receiving an Advanced Skills certificate of the Safety Care program within 1 year of appointment.
- Ability to work effectively on a team, and to work where needed to fill open spots.
- Ability to lift clients and assist in performing transfers and basic ADL and use of hands-on skills (dependent care).
- Ability to successfully pass a variety of training classes within a specified timeframe.
- Able to drive an adaptive bus, with training.
Eligibility Requirements: 1 year of relevant experience, a valid driver’s license, and high school diploma or equivalency. If you are a current DMH employee: To be eligible to apply for this position, you must not have received a disciplinary action within the past 12 months .
