Salary: $38,800.08
Examples of Work: - Coordinate a team in proper sanitization and safe conditions in the dining room.
- Supervise safe use and care of facility equipment, reporting issues as needed.
- Carry out supervision duties in coordination with Manager including staff scheduling and direction of daily staff activities.
- Supervise adjustments and check for proper preparation and presentation of meals according to medical restrictions
- Work directly with Food Service Manager/Registered Dietician on assessments, care planning, weights and other clinical needs.
- Attend care plans and adjust meal tickets in electronic system
- Lift, carry, and transfer heavy food products.
Qualifications: Must demonstrate the following which may be obtained through 4 years of work experience in food service or through completion of an associate’s degree in a related program:
- Knowledge of standard kitchen procedures and sanitation guidelines
- Knowledge of proper preparation and presentation of meals
- Knowledge of equipment used in dining areas
Preferred:
- Experience supervising and instructing employees and/or helpers
- Experience in a long-term care facility
