    Job Summary
    In collaboration with the Grants Development staff, Sponsored Program staff, and CHR Principal Investigators, assist in making purchases as well as monitoring budgets related to CHR’s externally funded grants, which involve approximately ten large scale trials and $20 million in direct and indirect costs. Monitor and reconcile budget transactions and resolve discrepancies. This also includes but is not limited to completing purchases requests, reconciling ProCards purchases, assisting with travel forms and reimbursements, submitting and tracking invoices. Coordinate CHR purchase requisitions, handle payroll related items/paperwork for faculty, staff, and student assistants, facilities management (i.e. facility schedules and facilities work orders), and related administrative paperwork necessary for the function of the Center. Work closely with the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs and regularly track and monitor budgets of CHR’s extramural funding, research grants, discretionary and future funding streams through use of current Cal Poly state and corporation financial planning software (e.g., Dashboards and BOE). Coordinate scheduling, completion, and ongoing maintenance of required trainings and certifications in compliance with campus, corporation, community partner, federal, and other policies for human subject research. Compile reports for funding agencies and periodic Center reports. Provide administrative support for the Mobile Health Unit (MHU) to schedule vehicle repairs, pay vehicle insurance, inform about parking requirements and regulations, track expenses and monitor budget for the MHU and the purchasing of medical supplies.
    Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or its equivalent. Type 45 wpm. Five (5) years of general office support experience. (Training at a vocational school or full-time college education may be substituted for two years of the required experience on the basis of one year of college education for 6 months of experience.)

    Salary:

    Anticipated Hiring Range: $25.19 - $27.81 per hour

    Classification Range: $25.19 - $36.70 per hour

    Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Anticipated Hiring Range referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Classification Range may be broader than what the University anticipates paying for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
