What you'll do: - Coordinates and conducts training programs for employees, including compliance training, and soft skills training -- such as Mental Health First Aid, employee conduct and performance management training, public speaking, and other required training needed to ensure the success of department staff and leadership.
- Recommends and updates training modules, creates new curriculum when needed, evaluates trainers, and evaluates and reports on training outcomes.
- Assists or coordinates the activities related to the department's leadership and professional development programs, including (but not limited to), action planning, event coordination, employee coaching, assessment, evaluating assessment results and reporting program results to Senior Management.
- Provides support as an administrator of the Learning Management System, including contracts, training, course entry, and reporting.
- Assists in the development and administration of employee and organizational surveys; collects and analyzes data from surveys and may develop reports based on survey data analysis.
Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree: Adult Learning, Business Administration, Human Resources, Personnel Management, Organizational Development, Psychology, Statistics, Training and Development, or related field, OR
Four years of relevant experience.
Special Working Conditions: - Job requires occasional, statewide, overnight travel.
- Experience with training, coaching, and public speaking is desired.
