The Missouri Veterans Commission (MVC) is seeking a Human Resources Intern to join our dynamic team.  -  Assist with conducting an MVC-wide I-9 audit. 
  -  Research and assist in creating a best-in-class interview question bank for each position title used by MVC. 
  -  Audit, analyze and provide recommendations to the MVC New Team Member Orientation program for Headquarters and statewide facilities. 
  -  Assist in implementing updates to the MVC New Team Member Orientation program. 
  -  Research, analyze and report out on select payroll codes used by the Missouri Veterans Homes throughout the state of Missouri. These include, but are not limited to shift differential, medication disbursement, call back, standby and phlebotomy. 
  
 -  Enrolled in a relevant Bachelor’s or Post Bachelor’s degree program full-time (12+credit hours). 
  -  30 credit hours completed/accepted toward degree program. 
  -  Possess and maintain an overall GPA of at least 2.5 out of 4.0, or equivalent. 
  - Ability to work at the MVC - Headquarters (12 th floor Jefferson State Office Building) in Jefferson City, MO. 
  -  Must be able to work a minimum of 10 hours per week during the Spring semester (mid- January to mid-May).
  -  Must be able to work during normal business hours Monday - Friday (8:00 am - 4:30 pm).
