HOW THIS POSITION SUPPORTS THE DEPARTMENT’S VISION:
Our team focuses on opening and sorting tax returns and documents in a timely manner. We are team oriented, goal driven, and value strong communication and typing skills, as well as problem solving experience. You will work in a friendly work environment with full-time weekday schedule with the possibility of becoming a permanent employee.
DUTIES PERFORMED TO SUPPORT THE DEPARTMENT’S VISION:- • Review incoming mail for necessary information on paperwork, forms, or attachments tax
• Complete data entry tasks
• Research and error correct documents to ensure timely processing
• Correspond with both internal and external customers about DOR processes relevant to taxation
• Direct or provide assistance to taxpayers with filing issues and promote electronic filing options, via phone and email correspondence
CORE COMPETENCIES NEEDED:
Reliable Computer Literacy Motivated
Self-directed Attention to Detail Clear Communication
QUALIFICATIONS:- Must be at least 16 years of age
