• Answer telephone calls and emails from applicants, licensees and attorneys and respond to written and verbal inquiries.
• Prepare certified copies of information in accordance with the sunshine law.
• Prepare drafts and other supporting documentation for case management review.
• Assist legal counsel with research, preparation and presentation of documents.
• Request documents from courts and other state agencies.
• Complete data entry into the licensure/complaint system for each duty.
What we are looking for: Minimum Qualifications - Associate degree in paralegal studies or closely related field; or two (2) or more years of experience in a legal environment preferably in reviewing official documents such as claims, applications or legal documentation
- Earned credit hours from an accredited college or university in the areas of business or public administration may substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.
- Knowledge of computer applications such as Adobe Acrobat Pro, Microsoft Word, Outlook, OneNote and Excel.
