Salary: $60,648 - This is a multi-year, federal grant-funded position with funding from June 1, 2023 - May 31, 2028. After the multi-year funded timeline, there is the potential for renewal.

Job Location: This position will be located at 205 Jefferson St., Jefferson City, MO 65101.
Why you’ll love this position: This is a federal grant-funded, full-time professional position that supports cross-functional programming aligned to the Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child (WSCC) model. The position serves to bolster health promotion infrastructure and promote healthy school-wide policies.
- Support targeted health and wellness education to prevent risk factors and effectively manage chronic health conditions among school-age youth.
- Organize and manage grant activities (budget and contracts) and compile report data, assessments, and evaluation reports to ensure all program documentation is complete, accurate and comprehensive.
- Collaborate with the Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) on multiple projects, including Missouri Healthy Schools, the Youth Risk Behavior Survey, School Health Profiles, etc.
- Assist LEAs implementing WSCC model and support the development of school health advisory councils and school health improvement plans.
- Establish partnerships to engage health and educational experts (educators, school nurses, administrators and other LEA faculty and staff) to participate in professional development and technical assistance offerings.
- Apply appropriate federal, state, and department rules and regulations.
- Serve as health and physical education resource to multiple stakeholder groups and direct educators to appropriate resources for technical assistance in curriculum and assessment.
- Demonstrate regular, reliable, and engaged attendance.
Minimum Qualifications: - Minimum of four years of professional experience working in or supporting education systems.
