Role DescriptionThis position is responsible for helping to meet the financial needs of consumers at assigned providers for the Regional Office. This position enters approved services into CIMOR for provider billing, manage consumer bank accounts and pay invoices and NAFs requests for identified consumers.
Expectations - Responsible for entering consumer authorizations into CIMOR.
- Responsible for paying invoices and NAFs request for consumers weekly.
- Complete SCL approvals and SMT updates on a monthly basis.
- Complete Waiver day payments monthly.
- Review Medicaid billing rejections and working with the provider and/or guardian to resolve the issues.
- Responsible for answering provider billing questions and resolving provider billing issues for the providers that they work with.
- E-File consumer financial records as needed.
- Attend and pass annual refresher classes provided through MELS and/or MO Learning.
- Department performance expectations have been outline in the revised 2018 Employee Handbook.
Essential Functions - Good organization and decision making skills, ability to work with a variety of providers and co-workers and build relationships with them, knowledge of DD/DMH vision, guidelines, Department Operating Regulations, Code of State Regulations.

- Attends work according to facility policies in order to ensure adequate staff coverage.
Typical Qualifications1 - 3 years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.)
Knowledge, skills & abilitiesKnowledge of accounting procedures and office methods and practices. Ability to make mathematic calculations. Ability to meet deadlines. Ability to review financial documents for accuracy with attention to details. Ability to maintain automated and manual financial records. Knowledge of basic research methods related to financial transactions. Ability to identify and resolve transactional issues. Must have basic computer skills and Excel ability.
