    Job Summary

    Performs technical and first-line supervisory work of records retention and digital conversion of permitting-related documents. Responsible for coordinating the development of records retention schedules and supervising storage, retrieval, and destruction. Supervises scanning staff to ensure quality assurance and records retention compliance. Communicates with vendors and participates in the identification and execution of contracts with scanning vendors. Work is performed under the supervision of the Permitting Project Manager.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field with coursework in records management plus two (2) years permitting or records management experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Valid Florida Driver's License required. Knowledge of internal permitting records management systems and programs such as Infor and ProjectDox preferred.

    If this posting indicates a degree is required, the following experience will apply in lieu of any degree as follows:
    • Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
    • Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;
    • Six (6) years of direct experience for a master's degree; or
    • Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree.
