The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the individual selected or the position is eligible for a pay differential (e.g., shift, security, or years of service), it will be added to the total compensation in your paycheck. A pay differential does not raise your base pay.
- Oversee office operations to ensure effective and efficient clerical support to bureau management.
- Coordinate and track multiple projects, including establishing and/or monitoring due dates.
- Managing the flow of Fiscal Notes for the bureau, which includes tracking and making sure deadlines are met.
- Proof documents, letters, memos and bureau policies as well as track documents through the approval process.
- Assist with business travel which includes, lodging, car reservations, conference registrations etc.
- Answer the main line and route to the appropriate program.
- Schedule meetings and prepare applicable documents.
- Attend bureau budget meetings and management meetings.
- Process expense reports, purchase requests, and manage fix asset inventory.
- Support the confidential processing of personnel information.
Minimum Qualifications: - Graduate with a High School Diploma or High School Equivalency.
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience (substitutions allowed).
- Excellent skills with standard office software (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, etc.) with the ability to learn specialized software systems.
